Project-A-Flash

Project-A-Flash is a very simple, yet effective, teleflash system. Constructed out of a durable plastic material, this unit fits snugly over the front of the flashhead of most common hot shoe mounted strobe units and is positioned and held in place by a velcro strap. To the front of the unit, an easily removable Fresnel lens is attached, which concentrates the light from the flash to cover an area slightly larger than the coverage of a 300mm lens. This results in a gain of up to 3 F-stops over what the flashhead would give out set at 50 mm. It is not recommended that this teleflash system be used with lenses less than 300mm; otherwise the corners of the image will be dark. Another advantage of this unit is that with a weight of 6 ounces and a length of only 7 inches, it fits in most luggage and is easily transportable. The front dimensions of the Fresnel lens are 4 1/3 inches by 5 3/4 inches. Color: black.
